Description: Bollywood Dance on Stage is aimed at those who have been attending Bollywood classes and would like to work on performing on stage and improving their skills. This course teaches basic performance and stage technique, use of facial expressions, confidence on stage, how to captivate the audience. This level includes Jazz Technique, Classical Indian Technique and more complex Bollywood Routines. Students from this course are given opportunities to perform in outdoor festivals during the year. The course ends with a dance performance in front of friends and family at our X-mas show.

This class focuses on a more feminine style of Bollywood Dance combining Modern Indian with Classical Indian hands, positions and movements. You will learn to dance to Bollywood songs such as "Aaja Naachle", “Devdas- Dol Re”, "Kajra re", "Bole Chudiyan", "Nimbooda" and "Chunari Chunari". The course ends with a dance performance in front of friends and family at our X-mas show. All levels are welcome.

Introduction to Bollywood Performance is for everyone who would like a taste of Bollywood Dancing with the opportunity to work on a complete dance routine. This course will assume basics taught in the Introduction to Bollywood Course and will not re-teach Bollywood Basics.

Bollywood Dance on Stage
Levels: Intermediate
Pre-requisite: 6 Bollywood Elementary Courses.
Bollywood Dance on Stage is aimed at those who have been attending Bollywood classes and would like to work on performing a dance routine on stage. This course teaches basic performance and stage technique, use of facial expressions, confidence on stage, how to captivate the audience. This level includes complex intermediate level routines, Jazz and Classical Indian  technique,  and requires the Bollywood Elementary Course as a pre-requisite. The course finishes with a stage performance.

The Professional Bollywood Dancer
Levels: Adv/Professional
Pre-requisite: Entry by Audition only
The Professional Bollywood Dancer is aimed at training Professional Bollywood Dancers with well rounded skills for Professional Performances, Shows, Auditions. This course will have components in: Bollywood Dance, Classical Indian Dance, Jazz technique, Lip Synching & facial expressions, Audition technique. Students from the Professional Dance Course will be eligible to join the Mango Dance Productions Agency and Audition for BOLLYWOOD SPICE.

Bollywood Acting & Camera Courses

Bollywood: Dance on Camera  (Level I):
Bollywood Dance on Camera is aimed at those who have been attending Bollywood classes and would like to work on performing a dance routine on camera. This course teaches basic performance and camera technique, use of facial expressions, how to captivate the viewers. Students will get a video clip of their performance.

Bollywood: Introduction to Bollywood & Acting  (Level I): 
Introduction to Bollywood Acting is for everyone - acting is about communication, emotional connection and expression. This course prepares you to respond confidently, comfortably, spontaneously and imaginatively in improvised and text based scenarios. Introduction to Bollywood  and to  Acting is for everyone - acting is about communication, emotional connection and expression.  The first lecture deals with history and traditions of Bollywood which has become a global phenomenon recently. (Student can take this lecture independently of the complete course). Other lectures provide a basic course in Acting, including how things work on a film set, how to go about a career in acting for films and TV. Students get individual international career counselling for a career in films in the last course. Selected students will  get an option to do a scene and record it on camera and will be given an edited piece.
