Mango Dance Studio, the brainchild of Farah Shah, is to launch on the 11th July.
 
Mango Dance Studio will run up to 92 classes per week, aiming to replicate the winning format of major commercial dance studios in London, LA and New York.

Mango Dance Studio is bringing together an elite team of some of Sydney’s leading choreographers, performers and teachers such as Jason Liu Brennan, Juliette Verne, Michael Boyd, Csaba Szirmai, Blacker Conteh, Mel Hitchcock, James Taylor, Cristo Zablah and Missy Stephens. Farah Shah will of course also be teaching her unique blend of funk, hip hop and Bollywood dance moves.

Farah Shah came to Australia determined to try to create the same dance opportunities in Australia as she had encountered in the UK, “I have had this vision since I was a little girl. I always used to say ‘one day I will have my own dance school’. I never lost sight of that vision. It has stayed with me till now and is my driving force.”

Originally an old cinema, Mango Dance Studio has been renovated with fully sprung dance floors, 2 large studios, mirrors and a fantastic location in the heart of North Sydney.

Classes offered will include Commercial Jazz, Jazz Funk, NY Style Jazz, Lyrical Jazz, Broadway Jazz, Street Funk, Hip Hop, Breakdance, Popping & Locking, Bollywood, Contemporary, Classical Ballet, Bellydance, Salsa/Latin, Ballroom, Yoga & Pilates,  and Kids Classes.
